Updated: At the same time, during a joint press conference, Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte said that his country has 42 F-16 fighters and it is too early to talk about the number that will be transferred to Ukraine.
Rutte said that training should first take place in Denmark and Romania. Now there is a language training for pilots. In the future, military training will begin and move to the territory of Romania.
He also noted the importance of having the necessary infrastructure to serve the F-16.
Zelensky noted that he did not want to talk about the number, but Rutte voiced information that negotiations were underway on 42 aircraft.
Recall: To protect itself, Ukraine needs to replace morally and physically obsolete Soviet aircraft of various types with a single type of multi-role fighter, which can be the F-16, in the amount of up to two hundred aircraft , Air Force spokesman Yuri Ignat reported.
